Sunil Akash Atma Prakash, literally means “Self-Emancipation, Under – The Blue Sky. There’s not much to add as the story of its background other than this much, that it all started as a DREAM of an INDIVIDUAL, who believed in LOVE, HUMANITY and COMPASSION, that extends beyond the confines of nations and borders as spread out on the fancy maps of the world globes.

Behind the creation of SAAP, the love for BANGLA in the heart of that individual had also been a determining factor. In his heart, there had been an urge too, to remain protective about BANGLA /Bengalis /Bangla speaking people, regardless of how they are being defined today in different parts of the world depending on their geographical presence and course of migration from time to time. It had been his dream to connect and unite the people all over the world, who relates to BANGLA, and carry in their being a sense of belonging at the roots of Bangla culture regardless of the extent and manner, in which it is observed and preserved on different parts of the globe.

To realize the inherent spirit of SAAP, it is needed to expressly mention that just as the BLUE SKY doesn’t have a defined boundary and welcomes all in its unlimitedly wide embrace, SAAP is also not meant to be confined within the boundaries of BANGLA only, rather intends to become a symbol of multiplicity of cultures that coexist in harmony complementing each other everywhere, all the time. But still, there is an emphasis on Bangla, which needs to be internalized deeply, in light of love, compassion, and humanity without the slightest trace of offence towards any other culture.

Time in its own journey has reached to a point when the whole world has become a global village and where losing borders and roots sometimes is considered as a gesture of oneness, as a proof of humanity. SAAP upholds the current of that oneness, at its heart, while promotes the importance of cultivating heritage that is specific to each individual of the world regardless of their identity. SAAP upholds the inner stream of humanity, compassion and love that run deep into its inner-being, and as an expression of the significance of such spirit, declares as loudly and boldly as possible the value of one’s own culture and identity as a NATURAL ORNAMENT and GIFT specific to that individual.

Between humanity and identity, there lies no rivalry! Rather when appropriately combined, the two together creates the spotless beauty that is a birth right for every individual. The spirit of SAAP is to uphold the stand in favour of every culture of this world under the blue sky, only to embrace the FACT that identity loses its magic when it becomes a shackle, and humanity loses its glamour when it fails to accommodate the importance of identity that is held dear by the humans.
